Starschema's Business Objects XI Monitoring plug-in is a software package created for monitoring operation and usage of Business Objects XI and Crystal Reports servers, and is being embedded by the widely used infrastructure management frameworks such as Nagios, HP OpenView or IBM Tivoli.
By using Starschema's  BO XI Monitoring your IT support personnel will be able to control scheduled and manual report runs, measure execution times, evaluate and eliminate errors occurred - before the business processes were severely impacted.
BO XI Monitoring is extremely flexible, you can set up different monitoring scenarios, alerting threads and priorities for your business critical reports, monitoring multiple servers or multiple environments, report instances - as your protection needs requires.

Not like other BO monitoring solutions, Starschema's BO XI monitoring does not need configuration change or install components on the BO XI server itself. It runs checks from outside of BO server, accessing all levels of BO infrastructure - so it will generate alerts in case of any BO infrastructure components failed, from the very basic hardware or network errors to hick-ups of any BO services or security issues. It can't happen that the monitoring functionality fails together with the monitored application itself.

BO XI Monitoring supports the hosting monitoring framework to trigger alerting functions, like SMS or email sending - based on the behavior of monitored BO systems.

BO XI Monitoring requires only minimal setup, it can be easily configured by it's own XML templates.
